We're Yannis Cafe, and we've been a premier restaurant in Manteno, IL, specializing in providing great home-cooked food and hospitality since 1994. Our Story
Yannis Cafe is a locally owned and operated restaurant located in Manteno, Illinois. Our story began in 2008 when brothers Yanni and Meno opened the doors to Yannis Cafe for the first time.
Yanni, who is originally from Greece, wanted to create a dining experience that celebrated the flavors and traditions of his homeland. With a background in the restaurant industry and a passion for cooking, Yanni knew that opening a restaurant was the perfect opportunity to share his love for Greek cuisine with the Manteno community.
Yannis Cafe quickly became a beloved destination for locals seeking delicious, authentic Greek dishes. Using family recipes and the finest ingredients available, Yanni and Meno crafted a menu that captured the essence of Greek cooking, featuring traditional dishes like moussaka, pastitsio, and gyros.

I placed an order last Sunday. The Patty Melt was well seasoned and sautéed onions not over cooked. The seasoned fries, the outer layer had the perfect crisp.
The chicken and rice soup was hot, great favoring and a was delicious.
I highly recommend this meal.
